Having worked together previously on the Emmy award winning Explorers campaign, we are naturally excited to be tasked with creating soundscapes for the new Evolve Digital and Nat Geo USA “Wicked Tuna” promo spots .

We build an immersive sound narrative wrapping around the storytelling dialogue of the fishermen on their journey into the raw aquatic elements as they brave some of the wildest waters in the North Atlantic. Our sound dives dramatically into the tumultuous waves, distilling the adrenaline of the chase and the victory, responding in detail to each of the finely captured frames … the detail of the bird in mid flight, the frenetic action of the reel, the natural acoustic environment, and the harpoon driving an arc through the piece to finally bring home the catch … and roll closing titles …
